Paul Cook, Circuit Junior, has responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Circuit and is a specialist in criminal law undertaking prosecution and defence work. He is a CPS Grade 3 Prosecutor. His chambers are at Albion Chambers, Bristol.
Paul is approved on the Western Circuit Advocacy Programme for Circuit pupils as an advocacy trainer.
He regularly fulfils over 24 hours of CPD hours on the training programme each year. and has been training Pupils since 2003.
In 2005 he became the Bar Junior for Bristol and in 2008 was elected Circuit Junior for the Western Circuit.

Rachel Spearing, Circuit Junior Elect, will serve from 1st October 2011 until 30th September 2014. She practises in Crime & Regulatory Law from Pump Court Chambers.
Called to the Bar in 1999, Rachel served as area Bar Junior for Winchester since 2009. She was elected to the Committee in 2010 as the Equality & Diversity Officer and is on the Circuit training team.

David Regan, Wine Treasurer, is responsible for all social events on Circuit and was previously the Bar Junior for the Bristol area. David practises in Personal Injury and Employment at St. John's Chambers, Bristol.

David has extensive experience of advocacy and advisory work in the field of employment law, of racial, sexual and disability discrimination, redundancy, ‘whistle blowing’, transfer of undertakings, constructive and unfair dismissal, and is qualified to undertake Direct Access work in appropriate cases

Peggy Durrant M.B.E. Circuit Butler since 1968, has been assisting the Western Circuit mess by acting as maitre d' for all major social events on the Circuit. She works from her home helping the High Sheriff and the Circuit.
